I have been building computers and networks since I was a teenager and after reading "This is how they tell me the world ends", by Nicole Perlroth I decided to leave active duty in the Navy after 14 years and pursue my passion with formal education. According to FBI statistics, cybercrime cost the U.S. $6.9 billion in 2021 and now with the rise of A.I. and Quantum computing knocking on our door, information security is paramount. I spend my free time learning on my own. My most recent project was restoring a 2011 iMac as a Linux machine running Nobara project.
