I have been an administrative assistant for Karen Gonzales Real Estate Group part-time since May, 2022. As an administrative assistant, my tasks include printing flyers and documents and making sure that they are mailed out or distributed to necessary recipients, placing yard signs at properties, and running errands for any event outside of that. I also assist at open houses. Starting this year after the social media person in our team left, the role fell upon me as well along with my other obligations. I am responsible for editing (and filming) videos taken during the week for social media. The tools I use are mainly Capcut and Canva. Taking on the role of social media management has given me the opportunity to expand my skills beyond administrative tasks. I’ve developed a passion for video editing, learning how to craft visually appealing and engaging content for our social media pages. Balancing these new responsibilities with my administrative duties has also improved my multitasking skills.
