After leading the Implementation of the ITSM Data into Service Now for Shell I have recently taken the interim position of Service Now ITSM Reference Data Manager.I am managing a team of 15 People located in the Netherlands, India and US who manage the data quality, Configuration and Asset Management process assurance and Data update operations of some 4.2 million Configuration Items in the Configuration Management Database module of Service Now supporting ITSM Service Now Processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management and Call Management.

My accountibility is to ensure that 260 Infrastructure Services, Service offerings and Enterprise Application are being managed using a standard Application Portfolio Management process. This includes the rollout, embedding of this process to some 50 - 80 Product Managers and Component Service Managers worldwide. I am also accountable to implement, embed and manage a Center of Excellence for Managed Service Contracts in Shell IT in the area's of Operating models, Support Models, Standard contracts and Operating Level Agreements.

The Component Landscape Manager role is a compliancy role ensuring that the Operations of the most Business Critical IT systems are working without interruption. The accountability for the Component Landscape Manager is End-to-End. Operations, Structural Improvements, Audits, Crisis Management. In this role I was responsible for Financial Accounting Shell Group Reporting system (Quarterly Reporting for Shell to the External Markets) and the Shell Group Treasury systems. Failure of these systems could mean significant loss to the Shell Group both financially and reputational damage. The transaction value in the Treasury systems is in the billions and failure to report the Shell Group Results to the external Markets has a similar effect on the Shell Share price.

Accountable for the Day to day operations of all Non-SAP applications in the Global Shell Functions organization. (HR, IT, Contract and procurement , Shell Group Finance)This involves some 124 applications in Asia, US and Europe. Main focus area's are Infrastructure operations, Middleware, Interface, Batch processing, Regression testing, Disaster Recovery.

Implementing Management Information System for Finance and Time accounting for the Global function companies (Corporate) in Shell. Some 2000 - 3000 End Users needed to brought along on the Change Path and received training in the various Management Information tools delivered by SAP.

In this job I was accountable for the daily operations of the Shell Chemicals SAP application supporting around 5000 users in 24 countries 24 hours 7 days a week. I was leading a team of 12 SAP specialists and accountable for the Run & Maintain Develops by offshore IBM staff (20) in India.
