I am responsible for the revenue and direct management of our National Account (Travel Agent and Consortiums) and Government Account (GSA and Federal Agencies) relationships. I manage our National Tour Operator Amtrak Vacations product, our Regional Tour Operator programs and our discount programs such as AAA, Veterans Advantage, Student and International discount programs. These responsibilities include identification and implementation of key business opportunities on a national scale; working directly to develop and impact policy, revenue management and ridership enhancement. This requires developing and updating new and existing contracts, administration of those agreements and supervision of multiple teams and staff (fulfillment, finance/accounting, technical, legal, operations, etc.) in locations around the United States. Additionally, in each area I schedule and manage the development of communication, advertising and promotional programs to support these channels.

Provides project management support for route performance initiatives and coordinate the implementation of RPI components including: advertising, sales promotion, pricing/revenue management, F&B product elements, new product development and introduction and other product elements. Additional support includes customer relations, onboard observation and market research evaluation, interpretation and recommendations. Collaboration with OBS Managers, crew base staff, and Mechanical General Foreman to identify root causes and opportunities for product and customer service improvements.

Responsible for business development, creation of marketing and advertising programs, coordination, contract negotiation and liaison with clients both private and government in assigned regions. Integrated media sales for Prevue, reaching Meeting and Incentive Planners in North America - Recommend, providing the highest circulation to the travel trade in North America. Current regions include the southeastern United States and most of Canada.

Directed marketing activities in Florida, developed programs and monitored results. Interacted with industry stakeholders both promotionally and sales related. Interacted with Operations to bring a product managment approach to service and product changes and introductions. Responsible for financial performance of assigned trains within geographic territory. Left due to corporate re-structure with new CEO.

Florida Department of Transportation 1997 – 2005 General Contractor, Florida 's Map I successfully competed in the state bidding process resulting in the award of several multi-year contracts with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Visit Florida (FLA-USA) to develop and produce the official State of Florida transportation map. This project and the process leading up to each award required consistent contact with FDOT planning offices in Tallahassee and FDOT division engineers throughout the state. The RFP, bidding and award process for this project is exhaustive and requires participation in a competitive arena. My RFP responses consistently received near perfect scores from all examiners, in each category. I was awarded three 3-year contracts (9 years successively) with FDOT.

A high profile executive leading all phases of the organization. Contracted to manage political campaigns, produced and published magazines both for myself and clients in London, Paris and in conjunction with state Convention Visitor Bureaus and Tourist Development Councils to provide marketing and planning for events and to increase awareness of recreational and tourism opportunities. I also provided marketing and brokered printing and related services. Accomplishments include: • Provided consulting, business development and marketing services. • Convention planning and execution for marketing firms based in Paris, for events throughout the United States. • Provided services to clients as diverse as the City of Orlando, Cendant Corporation, Universal Studios Florida, Days Inn, Holiday Inn and other business and government organizations statewide, nationally and internationally. • Negotiation and award of contracts with state and local agencies resulted in multi-year agreements with agencies for services covering Flagler, Broward, Volusia and Putnam counties, Visit Florida (FLA-USA) and other regions of the state.

Starting as an Assistant Branch Manager, I was promoted to manager in 6 months with responsibility for upwards of 50 million dollars in loans and budget/management responsibilities for College Park branch and 5 employees. Orchestrating a complete turn around I improved branch standing from #78 in company to #6 in performance and revenue growth. I left to start my own business.

While deployed I directed the activities of a 12 man reconissance team of both junior and senior officers. Duties included security, intelligence gathering and evaluation and other forward deployment operational requirements. Developed operational plans for up to 14 deployed reconnaissance teams and coordinated all activities with World Wide Airborne Command Post, NATO and at the command level with each of our associated organizations including Presidential representatives.
