Responsible for managing a Distribution Warehouse that supports various production lines in the New Sabina Production Plant in Sabina, Ohio. The Operation is normally a 3 shift, 5-day a week operation, but depending on production demands it can be 7 days a week. I manage 38 warehouse associates and 2 Shift Coordinators that perform receiving, shipping, stocking and kitting activities as required. ** Manage warehouse material levels through radio frequency scanning systems that track receipts and disbursements to customers both internally and externally. ** Manage Kitting operations that are sequenced with the daily production schedules by production line. This includes coordinating material stocking and work order kitting in the required material First In/First Out (FIFO) configuration.** Responsible for managing expenses and operating budgets to the approved annual plans. This includes all staffing levels, maintenance planning and capital project management.** Responsible for managing and attaining various Customer and Internal Key Performance Indicators. Specifically: On Time Delivery, Kitting Accuracy and Purchase Order receipts.

Assist Director with departmental policy, budget, contracted service planning and implementation for shelter operations. Manage multiple inventories of medicines, drugs, food and medical equipment associated with running a full service animal shelter. Assign work assignments to departmental staff, dispatch Animal Control Officers throughout the county to enforce the Ohio Revised Codes associated with Companion Animals, (ORC 955). Insure accurate and timely processing of animals into and out of the Greene County Animal Shelter. ** Work with our Staff Veterinarian to manage the health and welfare of our shelter animals. This includes scheduling spay and neuter procedures, in addition to other medical related animal activities. ** Work with the shelter staff to establish and maintain healthful operations and conditions that meet and exceed the requirements for animal shelter operations. ** Manage various inventories of supplies, drugs and equipment. Maintain all required drug logs for controlled substances in accordance with our animal shelter DEA certification and the Ohio Board of Pharmacy requirements. ** Manage and promote communication and interaction within the community and insure quality customer service, while enforcing the Ohio Revised Code regulations. This includes adoption activities, impounding and releasing of animals, as well as, supporting local Law Enforcement Agencies as required.

Managed (3) MRO storerooms supporting 7 plants, also receiving and purchasing of the MRO materials for Howmet Managed a staff of 19, which included (9) Union employees (Howmet) and 10 Cambar employees.** Managed the production plant Tool-Crib with a 70% service level and five day operations and turned it into a 24/7 operation with 98% service levels.** Established three new sites for Cameron & Barkley using Howmet Union personnel to man the stores on a 24/7 basis.** Achieved sales of 750K after four months of doing business with these (3) storerooms. Achieving a service level of material availability above 97%, while operating 24/7. ** Drove continuous improvement through joint “Kaizen events” focusing on cost savings and increased production efficiencies.
