Utilizing MS Excel analysis tools for testing. Performed integrity & compatibility testing for upgrading from 8.1 to 8.4 to 10.1 as well upgrading the RDBMS from Oracle 10g to 11g.

Create, maintain, and provide change management for Decision Support Systems pertaining to asset logistics, maintenance, personnel training, procurement, and fiscal accounting. Migration from Cognos 7.4 on an INGRES database as well as SQL Server 2005 data sources to Cognos 8.4 BI on an Oracle 10g data warehouse using SAS Data Integration Studio as the ETL tool.Implemented BI methodologies such as dashboards (Report Studio), scorecarding (Metrics Studio), ad-hoc reporting, and multidimensional cubes (Transformer) to streamline coordination between Aviation & Naval operations for the U.S. Coast Guard. Provided warehouse management software (WMS) support for an international firm grossing 9.6 Billion in annual sales of HVAC, plumbing, and home improvement supplies. Upon initial employment there were 5 distribution centers serving 35 warehouses throughout the United States which grew to 7 distribution centers serving 63 warehouses in every state including Hawaii and Alaska.Addressed the logistical support technologies for the WMS using 3M HighJump in diagnosing issues with Intermec printers, Teklogix RF scanner handheld guns, and an Oracle 10g RDBMS with fail-over redundancy.Call tracking maintained by HP OpenView software suite.Periodically travelled to new warehouses to provide training to new associates as well as implement new WMS systems at the location.Implemented best practices based on ITIL guidelines.
