As the income auditor, I am proudly charged with:•Responsible for preparation of Daily Revenue Report and reconciliation of all the income on a daily and monthly basis.•Checking out figures, documents, and postings for ensuring appropriate codes, mathematical accuracy and correct entry to ensure conformity to all system and control procedures.•Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.•Preparation of Bank reconciliations.•Responsible for Credit card and MPESA reconciliations.•Ensuring all the End month Inventory and consumption is posted correctly in the financial system.•Audit daily cash collections and Banking’s.•Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.•Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.•Verify and reconcile the taxes on the sales report on a daily basis.•Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.•Assisting in Preparation of Payment Vouchers, Reconciliation of vendor statements and statutory deductions.•Assisting the Chief Accountant /Financial Controller in the End month preparation of the financial statements.

As the Cost controller, my duties and responsibilities included, but were not limited to:•Compiling of daily Beverage and Food cost.•Verifying all voids and Discounts done in the POS and PMS system.•Responsible for Surprise Spot Checks on stocks.•Control the Food and Beverage outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency.•Preparing variance analysis for all Inventory and communicating with ‎relevant parties.‎•Updating selling prices in the POS system.•Checking invoices against receiving record and comparing them with purchase order and ‎purchase requisition, and ensuring that all invoices are stamped and signed by the ‎authorized persons.‎•Ensuring that purchasing obtain up to date and accurate prices by comparing ‎prices against suppliers quotations.‎•Preparation of weekly and monthly reports on stock movement, Inventory valuations, Consumption and Purchasing analysis reports.•Responsible for preparation of Daily Revenue Report and reconciliation of all the income on a daily and monthly basis.•Assisting in Credit card reconciliations and bank reconciliation.

As the purchasing officer, duties and responsibilities included, but were not limited to:•Responsible for storage of food, Beverage and operational stock.•Preparation of purchase requisitions for replacement of stock and maintaining optimal stock at all times.•Receiving of materials purchased into the system and checking their quality and quantity•Issuing of stock to various departments.•Conducting spot checks and monthly stock take against the actual physical stock and stock on hand in materials control.•Coordinating with the Cost controller with proposals and day to day feedback on operational and internal controls.
