Accountable for process engineering delivery on plant support and project execution by managing the Technical Support team and providing technical lead, including, but not limited, to the following: 1. Drive the high performance culture with emphasis on delivery and results, by building self directed, motivated and engaged team, supported by world class systems aimed at improving effectiveness and efficiency. 2. Accountable for identifying, prioritizing and planning (including scheduling and resource loading) of all the plant support process engineering activities. Accountable for compiling and sign-off of the prioritization list for all the projects. 3. Provide expertise and guidance to deliver short term as well as long term solutions to the existing and new technical issues. 4. Accountable for development and implementation of plant monitoring systems capable to proactively identify potential deviations and risks to production volumes, product quality and equipment integrity from process perspective in short and long terms. Accountable for development, implementation and successful outcome of plans to eliminate identified risks. 5. Define the current plant performance baseline and targets for improvements in terms of volumes, quality and units costs. 6. Accountable for development, implementation and successful outcome of short term Volume Protection Plans and long term Improvement Plans. 7. Accountable for providing quality process engineering input to projects and ensuring process engineering governance is followed. 8. Accountable for implementation and management of performance contracts, personal development plans, training requirements and succession planning for personnel under supervision. 9. Is responsible to lead and coach the other process engineers and technicians on operation optimisation

To manage the Chemicals Technical Support Function with specific focus on system implementation, PSM implementation, coordinating and optimising of technical resources to enhance and improve installed technology and the production performance of the Chlorine, Brine & Caustic, Cyanide, HCl, Calcium Chloride and Hypochlorite chemical plants. Furthermore, provide expert and innovative technical services in problem solving, design, optimisation, investigation, technology custodianship, functional project management process and business development.
