Oversee the formation of men seeking ordination to the Diaconate for the Archdiocese of Louisville. Act as liaison between the Archbishop and those who are ordained, including active and retired. Create and support opportunities for spiritual direction and growth as well as opportunities for continuing education and formation for the ordained and their wives; Support the wives and families of the ordained; Create open lines of communication and support for the widows and widowers of the diaconate community; Work in a spirit of collegiality with other directors and offices of the Archdiocese; All done in the hopes of carrying on the mission of Christ and His church to work to bring forth God's Kingdom here and now.
