For the past sixteen years I have been the person responsible for the entire information technology department of PFS Corporation in Cottage Grove Wisconsin. This position has run the gamut from being a single person IT department servicing a single server one office company through designing and expanding to a five office cross country nine server wide area network, and managing the staff that maintained it. My duties have encompassed all areas of a typical IT department ranging from system configuration and user help desk through designing and wiring a new multi-site data and voice network supporting over 150 users in both office and remote home user settings. I have been the project coordinator to bring technology solutions to various departments within the company and have designed and managed client interface projects to assist in corporate business goals. I have attended yearly training classes to expand my knowledge of network security, business workflow, and technological advancements. As a representative of PFS and the Manufactured Housing industry, I have also participated in, and become a leader of, the International Standards Organization’s Document Management advisory group. This involvement gave me the opportunity to work in an international setting on several IT related projects.

I worked on several of the PDF based document management standards for engineering and archiving, as well as the base PDF document Standard. (ISO 24517 - PDF/E, ISO 19005 - PDF/A and ISO 32000 - PDF Reference.)As Convenor I facilitated international discussion meetings, making sure that all of the Country and Government representatives had equal opportunity to add input and understand the standards proceedings.
