DDS ENGINEERING, was founded in 1973 and has steadily grown in the South Central Kentucky area. Our Firm has been instrumental in design and development of numerous projects in and around Kentucky from small individual residential, commercial and industrial tracts to large commercial regional shopping centers of several hundred acres, and industrial tracts in excess of 1,000 acres.DDS has continually been on the leading edge of new and advanced technology and methods. DDS was recently recognized by the Kentucky Ready Mix Concrete Association for our design and implementation of concrete for parking lots utilizing both solid surface and previous concrete surfaces. Additionally, DDS has been nationally recognized for it design and development of some of the more innovative methods of storm water treatment and discharge, from extremely large storm water separators to pervious pavement with underground detention with advanced suspended solid removal and treatment.DDS continues to strive to provide ever increasingly innovative means of providing our clients with the latest and most economical methods of achieving their goals and expectations.Further, the Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and Surveying Division staff at DDS has extensive experience in forensic surveying and engineering services and expert witness research and testimony on various aspects of cases within our various fields of practice.CSX RAILROAD TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONDDS ENGINEERING, PLLC, is pleased to announce that all our field and supervisory staff, office engineers and technicians recently completed updated training and obtained Contactor Certification for CSX Railroad. In addition, all DDS employees have been cleared by the E-Rail Safe Security Clearance Progam. This training, certification and security clearance is required by the Federal Railway Administration (FRA) and CSX Railroad in order to work on, near or along any CSX Railroad Route.Specialties: Site Selection and Planning, Storm Water Management/Quality Design, Surveying, and General Civil Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering. In addition, we provide expert witness testimony on a wide variety of cases utilizing our staff’s talents and expertise in various engineering and surveying areas of practice.

This is accomplished through the licensing and monitoring of individuals and firms deemed qualified to practice. The Board is self-supporting and receives no general fund tax dollars.In conjunction with the Kentucky State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, I have served as the Board’s Secretary-Treasurer, Vice-Chairman and Chairman and have served on and Chaired several Board Committees. In addition, I presently serve on the Exams for Professional Surveyors (EPS) Committee of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES)
