Over the last 50+ years, I have gained a wealth of experience in the exploration and mining industry and I pride myself on my robust and practical 'on the ground' approach to mineral-related projects. Early in my career, I established the leading UK mining recruitment consultancy, which led to further exploration, curiosity and extensive learning around the identification of new mining businesses and global opportunities worthy of potential investment. I am well-versed in prospecting for and the evaluation of mineral opportunities worldwide including assessments, feasibility studies, negotiating lease agreements and contractual arrangements, establishing new companies and directing start-up and development of new projects. I cofounded Phoenix Copper Ltd and currently serve on its Advisory Board and ESG Committee and possess considerable experience gained via both Executive and Non-Executive Directorships for a number of UK, North & South American, Australian and Far East public and private mining companies.
