Since my first job at a fast-food restaurant, it's my mission to put a smile on a customer's face! If that means putting in a few extra fries, spending an hour to solve a customer problem, or giving a kid a free birthday party because their mom can't afford it, I do it! I enjoy attending my Toastmasters Club meetings, improving my speaking and leadership skills. When I first joined in 2007, I turned red and could bearly even say my name in front of others. Now among other things, I have competed in a won speech contests (in front of hundreds of people). Been on TV, spoke with Mayors, published press releases, while doing PR for a District of over 200 clubs, and 5000 members. Three times serving as club president for a year. One of the joys in my life is helping inmates in a local jail learn communication and leadership skills. Recently I began taking dance lessons overcoming a big fear of having two left feet. I started bowling when around eight years old, and still enjoy my weekly bowling league. I am a bit of a jokester and oddball, loving to make people laugh. It's true that we learn and do more when we laugh. I even stood on my head once to warm up an audience. It's all about the smile!
