Create and execute a year-round schedule of programming that meets our guests’ needs and connects them to the site, from personal encounters with interpreters, to guided tours for small groups, to staged presentations with audiences of hundreds. Research, develop and execute occasional changing exhibits in a variety of facilities including historic recreations.

Directed all aspects of research and public presentation, including publications, programs and exhibits. Established policies and procedures for acquisition, care, public use, and display of significant local artifact and archival collections. Managed daily operations of Tanner House Museum site and Local History Research Archive.

Worked in tandem with Executive Director to expand AHS operations into second museum. Participated in long-term and short-term organizational planning. Assumed management of daily operations for Tanner House Museum site. Reorganized archive and collections storage, bringing both in line with accepted professional standards despite chronic lack of space.
