Focused on enhancing the experience of more than 80 CPES industry partners from around the world.I leverage advanced degrees in both science and business with 25 years of financial and administrative management experience serving in roles with increasing responsibility at Ames National Laboratory, Iowa State University, Yale University and Virginia Tech (VT). The positions I’ve held and the projects I’ve managed demand that I operate well in a wide variety of research areas and on myriad related issues. Daily, I demonstrate an excellent ability to interact with and align peoples’ visions and goals, both at VT and external to the university, adroitly manage and prioritize numerous projects and tasks, tactfully move forward sensitive issues, and provide decision makers with accurate and appropriate information to aid resolution of complex issues.
