Current• Directs and coordinates logistics production and configuration support functions for the Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF), Expeditionary Mobile Base (ESB), Towing, Salvage, Rescue (ATS), and Fast Replenishment Oiler (AO) 205-class ships.• Oversees four Project Managers and support staffs for MSC New Construction Class Ships. Analyzes the team’s provided data and based on assessment offers… Show more • Directs and coordinates logistics production and configuration support functions for the Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF), Expeditionary Mobile Base (ESB), Towing, Salvage, Rescue (ATS), and Fast Replenishment Oiler (AO) 205-class ships.• Oversees four Project Managers and support staffs for MSC New Construction Class Ships. Guides the compiling and organizing of key life cycle logistics areas for the four ship classes. Analyzes the team’s provided data and based on assessment offers innovative solutions to concerns to the customer and stakeholders. • Conducts analysis of variations between hierarchical structures (HSC) configuration data provided by Shipbuilder and Military Sealift Commands structures. Research has identified a copious number of configuration problem areas, which may have led to major fleet ILS support issues. Proactive reconciliation and actions to build the required ILS support records prevented these issues from transpiring. • Directly interfaces with Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCEN), Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Command and/or the respective Supervisor of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP) on all feedback reports submitted by various activities for new acquisition ships. Researches requests and provides sound recommendations of the submitted requests to stakeholders. • Active participant in Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) for all ship classes. Researches and compiles all identified fleet logistics and configuration support issues, and presents briefs to customer and stakeholders. Many of which, have led to action items that have since resolved numerous logistics support issues. Show less
