Challenges: Developing, implementing and sustaining process safety and HS management in a rapidly growing company. Driving alignment and engagement among the diverse group of professionals under heavy regulatory scrutiny presents the greatest challenges to process safety, and HS management. Outcomes: • Exploited the convergence of QHSE and enterprise loss prevention software by combining proven oil and gas QHSE methodologies, with IT consulting approaches to market and implement world class enterprise loss prevention systems. • Led global enterprise loss prevention system implementations using IMPACT Enterprise for ExxonMobil (global training), Unocal, ConocoPhillips (global training), and MI SWACO. • Exceeded sales targets by 186% and positioned Schlumberger for expansion of high-end consultancy services amongst its clientele.

Risk Engineering, Business Development, and Marketing for Petroleum and Petrochemical Consulting Company• Developed KBC’s business venture risk management (BVRM) product (a high margin, high value-add risk consulting product) to sell into KBCs existing downstream clientele, that encompasses KBCs strengths into a single unified product aimed at the strategic application of risk management tools including process engineering, RAM, qualitative/quantitative risk analysis, market analysis, at key points in the senior level decision making process to ensure risks concerns are appropriately identified and managed to promote the highest likelihood of meeting business objectives. Presented two papers on BVRM at AICHE Spring 2002 Conference in New Orleans• Assistant project manager, BVRM program for a $4B upstream/downstream project in Western Canada.
