Current• Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.• Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments.• Performing routine audits of systems (servers and workstations) and software.• Formulating backup procedures, performing and testing backups (including disaster recovery), archiving, and restoring files as needed.• Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.• Installing and configuring new hardware and software.• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.• Assist users to diagnose and solve their problems.• Troubleshooting Exchange and IIS.• Building and developing in house intranet sites.• Responsible for the upkeep of all the servers, computers and networks in a company.• Troubleshooting any reported problems.• Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.• In charge of inventory of paraphernalia regarding computers and ensuring applicable stock is available.• Train users in use of equipment / software.• Maintain peripherals, such as printers, that are connected to the network.• Systematic checks and programming of all computer related equipment including equipment like CCTV and alarm systems.• Deciding and recommending new computer equipment for the company and upgrading existing systems.• Manage company servers and intranet by installing good security systems and protect information on them.• Tracking all software licensing.• Update, maintain and design company website, catalogue, price list, business cards, intranet and all artwork.• Vehicle tracking with C-Track software.• Responsible for all photo taking and cataloging.• Designing and building costing sheets/calculators for sales team to use.• Building and updating dashboard reports for various purposes, mostly financial.• Design, build, maintain and administration of databases.
