Fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system. Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.

Communicating with a dispatcher, driving to the scene of an accident or breakdown, connecting the vehicle to the tow truck, and transporting it back to the service station or junkyard. Performing Service calls (tire changes, jump-starting batteries, opening cars with keys locked inside). Picking up and delivering auction vehicles to dealerships.

In this position, I would drive a late-model, company-issued car in designated areas and locate vehicles that are subject to repossession.The car was equipped with a in-cab computer so that I would always have direct access to the other repossession agents in the tow trucks. The vehicle was also equipped with MVTRAC camera technology, which scans other vehicle license plates as you drive. This process helped me locate vehicles that are subject for repossession by the companies recovery agents; they would handle the actual repossession in most cases. I would also assist in repossessions by driving the repossessed vehicles if it was a voluntary repossession and there was already a vehicle attached to the tow truck and ride along with and assist the other repossession agents with securing vehicles if needed.

Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states. Load and unload cargo. Record amount and type of cargo being delivered. Take orders for new deliveries. Maintain proper temperatures in trailer for cargo.
