Manage casting, show flow, speakers, special guests and host for annual Youth of the Year (YOY) regional and national galas.Schedule and oversee a very tight rehearsal schedule with YOY finalists, speakers, host and performances.Work with Producer and production company on load-in, rehearsal, show flow and load-out schedules.Perform Stage Manager duties during rehearsals and show. Communicate with the Producer and various Technicians (lighting, sounds, teleprompter, etc.) on any changes or needs for the stage and backstage areas.Work closely with Boys & Girls Club special event staff on venue layouts, stage elements and audio/visual needs.

XXXIX through LVIII (19 shows).Manage the casting/recruitment, rehearsal schedules, wardrobe, transportation, and logistics of between 500 and 1,200 cast members.Facilitate communication between cast and stage management, Directors, Producers, and Choreographers during rehearsals and live worldwide telecast

Oversee the logistics, operations and execution of 30 events per year. Events range from fundraisers to live televised specials to sponsor activations.Oversee hiring of approximately 20 temporary staff.Liaison in planning with the wide variety of departments at the City of Grand Rapids and DGRI.Manage a $500,000 dollar operating budget.Manage contract negotiations and vendor integration for events and venues.Work closely with the Sponsorship Department in fundraising efforts and am responsible activations and event integration for high-level sponsors. Sponsors include: Amway, Meijer, Smart Water, DTE Energy, Consumers Energy, Honda, Switch, and X-rite Pantone.Manage the design, installation and day-to-day operations and load-out of the ArtPrize Clubhouse, retail shop, volunteer lounge and all other event venues.Work closely with the Volunteer Department on logistics and operations so that department runs smoothly.Work alongside the Marketing Department on event guide content, printing and distribution to guests and partners.

Sponsors include: Audi, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Sony, LA Times, Entertainment Weekly, American Airlines, Stella Artois, New Amsterdam Spirits, Gallo Wines, Keurig, and KIND Bars.Manage the design, install, day-to-day operations and load-out of festival headquarters, theaters, and all hospitality lounges.Work closely with AFI CMO and Marketing team on festival brand management and overall marketing strategy.Manage all insurance and legal issues associated with overall festival production.Produce and Stage Manage AFI’s Commencement Ceremony and manage the after-party.Work closely with the President & CEO on the annual Life Achievement Award telecast and manage the post tribute party. Oversee pre-show and post-show talent flow and publicity opportunities. Serve as the Event Manager on other various Donor events and AFI Awards Luncheon.
