Created the Information Systems Division for The Alternative Education & Work Center program at LAUSD; designed, developed, programmed and implemented “Genesis”, a Teacher-Centered Process Workflow, Performance Improvement, Student Information System and Counseling Tool written in 188,000 lines of VBA code for Microsoft Access. Working with my partner, we trained all users, handled all support calls, debugged all issues, and interfaced AEWC’s information with several other departments and the rest of the district. We also created a target-based performance monitoring system to provide program-wide teacher-level performance and accountability measures. We maintained over 39,000 AEWC records on 26 servers with roughly 100 active users.
