His work ethic, his ability to grasp complex issues and to translate that complexity to upper management in a clear, concise and understandable manner made Derek stand out. He has learned a variety of technologies and he has ran teams and divisions within those technology sectors for Datavox. He has a unique ability to be tech savvy and yet interface with the customers using that ability to relay complex problems in a simple understandable fashion. This makes the customers really like this young man and they know that he will get his best and his teams best. Because he doesn't know how to not be great at something. He proves it day in and day out. All of his promotions are based of merit and hard work. He deserves each one that he gets. I'm excited to see what is next for this young man!"
