ManufacturingGlass Mat Process- Designed a Microsoft Access Database to manage operators production information and looking to improve the operating effectiveness of our process.Glass Mat Thermoplastic- Run the press to mold 3 or 5 layer product to simulate running GMT on the production line.- Mold GMT into plaques and cut tensile, flex, impact specimen which I test to compare the physical properties to our standard product.Process Improvement- Using Microsoft Excel to improve our Quality department reporting efficiency by up to 1200% - Using Microsoft Excel I implemented a master file which incorporates macros to consolidate all desired product information and then pull for analysis. -Using Microsoft Access I built a database which manages incoming material and raw material inventories as they flow through production. This also generates barcode's for production traceability of semi-finished goods.Project Management- Work with sales team to determine what type of product the market is requesting (ex. flame resistance, high impact)- Work with suppliers to acquire material which can be added to our resin and alter the properties of our glass mat thermoplastic (GMT)- Manage project progress and lead conference calls with our sales team to gather updates on the marketManagement Responsibilities- Manage manufacturing and process engineer to provide continued improvement in scheduling and production.- Manage production employees to execute my projects along with training the employees on new processes.- Work with Plant Manager to track and manage production cost/performance.- Generate the company's weekly reports for our CEO to ensure there is no loss of communication when our plant manager is out of office.- Work to create and update company budgets.- Manage SAP production and costs to mirror our internal system with HQ.

Design- Design modifications that are requested by customers are taken from design to construction working in coordination of their design team- New projects from France and Germany are retrofitted to accept NEMA motors so we can sell to the US market- Finger guards are designed and manufactured for our centrifugal fans - 3D modeling and drawing creation to enable parts to be created within specified tolerancesManufacturing- Implementing new machines within production and assuring we have all the tools necessary to maintain productivity- Creating programs for TRUMPF bending machine to create brackets used to assemble the centrifugal fans- Creating programs for TRUMPF punching/laser machine to produce part flats along with impeller componentsProject Management- Creation of new parts and articles inside our inventory program (proALPHA)- Management of bill of materials as well as work orders for production employees- Spent 6 months in Germany working directly with the international engineering team to lead the design of projects in the USA

I worked as an ASE Certified Parts Specialist to provide customers with the correct part the first time. I developed little procedures where tasks could be done using less employees. This increased the customer service on the floor due to using the full team up front and remained productive with task completion.
