I am practical common sense type of individual. I believe in completing tasks to the best possible outcome. I don't suffer fools ,incompetence and I dislike people who complain about their lot rather than change their circumstances. My objectives in life are to enjoy it , to support my family and friends. I still have drive and strive to be the best I can at my job. I will get my Sergeants stripes back as I am very good at being a Sergeant and have found my niche in my professional life. I like Policing in the community I like problem solving and partnership working. I have a flexible bigger picture mind set which I use to achieve my goals.As set out my goal of getting my substantive Sergeant rank has been achieved I am now taking up my new post at Perth in Scotland. Believe in yourself work hard and you will be successful.I am now the Sergeant in charge of Kirkcaldy and Dundee NPT and the challenges I face are meeting strategic demands regarding Policing to meet service demands with limited resources and increasing pressure regarding new technology programmes being implemented , demand and resources review and the impending almagamation of the BTP in Scotland into Police Scotland. My work ethic is to embrace such changes and cascade that onwards to my work force giving confidence and encouragement. My next goal is to become a federation representative so I can help my colleagues and the Force through this transition of Force merger.
