I am an accomplished, experienced, and award-winning Police Chief with an extensive career leading police departments in the greater Chicago area while bolstering safety within the community through advanced crime prevention and public safety workshops. Having worked with county hospitals and higher education institutions, I have experienced a wide variety of policing activities including campus safety, security system development, community partnerships, department management, and program development. Working in diverse environments enabled me to strengthen my leadership skills in addition to officer development, workshop facilitation, policy creation, administrative management, and resource planning skills. In combination, my vast experiences enable me to thrive in any public safety role in which I serve. Throughout my career, I built strong partnerships with community members, non-profit organizations, and campus groups in order to innovate programs that enhanced individual safety within the local area. As a personable and collaborative professional, I can increase public trust, improve departmental efficiency, and lower crime rates through targeted strategies. My seasoned career includes highlights such as taking down an elaborate on-campus crime ring, thwarting kidnapping attempts at a county hospital, and launching a sexual assault response team to increase success rates during investigations into violence against women. For my work, I have received multiple awards and the University where served as Police Chief was recognized as the 2nd safest two- or four-year college campus. I am excited to continue my professional advancement by partnering with an established organization where I can leverage my policing, officer training, leadership, and administrative skills to promote positive change through increased public safety.
