Master Unlimited CoC issued by MCA. Currently sailing on large Superyachts (more than 10,000 GT) since 2018, also having extensive cruise ship experience (5-6 years experience) and have experience of Ro-Ro and passenger vessels (4 years experience). Have sailed on worldwide itineraries including Baltic, Med, Caribbean, Black Sea, Gulf of Aden, Indian Ocean, Singapore Straights, Australia and New Zealand.Throughout my career I have continually pushed past my comfort zone in order to progress my technical maritime experience. To date I have been heavily involved in statutory and periodic surveys as well as large refit and dry Dock periods.I am a great believer that team management plays a pivotal role in a successful organisation; I strive to adapt an inclusive, coaching-focused style to any team I am responsible for, and this has payed dividends so far by fostering highly competent personnel who can be relied upon independently without feeling micro-managed.I am always able to demonstrate a calm and considered demeanour even during the most stressful situations, meaning conflict resolution and response to emergencies comes as second nature.
