Primary Purpose:Plans and coordinates 8-12 intramural tournaments throughout the year by coordinating with employees and athletes. The Tournament Director works to fulfill the BSG mission of “Enhancing the Bethel experience by providing fun and purposeful events through servant leadership.” General Responsibilities:- Hire and oversee employees to run intramural tournaments- Delegate tasks and responsibilities related to specific events, work with employees to provide the resources to do that task- Attend weekly team meetings - Flexible and willing to work to plan and execute all functions of intramural tournaments- Meet bi-weekly with the Executive Director of Clubs and Organizations- Responsible for updating tournament scores and standings- Provide a safe and accessible environment for all participants- Responsible to ensure all tournaments have what they need to function- Schedule, coordinate, and execute all tasks needed to host and finish a tournament- Maintain budget for each tournament and oversee all income and expenses- Coordinate, market and execute tournaments according to your position

- Hire WW staff, including seven committee heads and about 80 staff members.- Participate in weekly team meetings.- Execute spring and fall orientation.- Develop and implement WW staff training.- Plan a monthly all-staff activity.- Conduct committee head evaluations in spring and fall.- Assist in hiring new WW coordinators.- Oversee and coordinate training and projects during Welcome Week.- Foster a welcoming and safe environment for new students at Bethel University.

I am responsible for overseeing the electronics department which includes interacting with and addressing customer needs. Managing inventory and shrink management. Because I am a versatile and willing employee, I must work in other departments when the need arises. In addition to the electronics department and photo lab, I have experience in the front end, lawn and garden, back room, and other departments which is a testament to my willingness to be a team player.

Responsible for supervising the aquatics center while creating and maintaining a safe, enjoyable, and positive member experience.A Red Cross certified lifeguard, and have additional certifications in administering oxygen, Using an AED, and performing CPR.Responsible for performing first aid and proper lifesaving techniques when necessary and completing appropriate incident/accident reports.Required to keep my body in good physical shape and keep all safety and incident procedures fresh in my mind, with constant in-service training sessions.Required to know, understand, and consistently communicate policies and guidelines.
