I am a Biomedical Sciences Trainee passionate about health equity and education. I am currently attending a Graduate Certificate program under the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.In addition to my academic pursuits, I worked as an ELA Tutor at KIPP Texas Public Schools, where I facilitated small groups of 5th and 6th-grade students to improve their writing and editing skills. I also have experience as a School Group Leader at Zenith Learning, where I supported children with their academics and recognized their efforts. Furthermore, I have interned with the media manager at Medical Bridges, a non-profit organization that provides medical supplies and equipment to low-resource communities, where I assisted with their social media accounts and increased their online presence.
