20+ years of experience of service to urban students and families in teaching, coaching and administrative roles. Currently serving as instructional leader with oversight of curriculum development and student assessment across all departments and grades 5-12. I implemented effective internal assessment systems to monitor academic progress of students throughout the year and created data analysis reports for internal and external stakeholders of all internal and external assessments including MCAS and STAR. I oversee and often lead facilitation of all school-wide professional development, with a focus on project-based learning, culturally responsive pedagogy and social-emotional learning. More than a decade of experience developing, writing and overseeing Federal grants including Title I, Title IIA, Title IVA, SPED 240, and ESSERs.
