Beginning my career as a professional Video Editor, Colorist, and Post Production Supervisor, I developed a reputation for delivering exceptional content efficiently and with expert technical proficiency. After earning my B.F.A. in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts from Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications in 2009, I began my career at Nitrous Ltd, a renowned New York post-production facility. Starting as an intern, I quickly advanced to Assistant Editor and then Editor, mastering the craft of editing for trailers, commercials, documentaries, and feature films for clients including CBS, In 2016, I joined MALKA as a Supervising Editor and Colorist, where I not only contributed creatively but also spearheaded the expansion of the post-production team from 10 to over 30 Editors, Colorists, Audio Engineers, and Managers. My leadership in Post Production laid the groundwork for my transition to Head of Operations, where I have driven transformative growth and operational excellence.Key highlights of my current role include: - Scaling Creative and Operational Systems: I built robust technical infrastructure, including NAS/SAN servers and shared workspaces, that supported MALKA’s growth from 20 employees to over 200. - Compliance and Security: I lead SOC 2 compliance efforts to ensure the security and integrity of client data. - Process Automation: I design and implement workflows, such as Okta Workflows, that streamline operations and increase efficiency across teams. - Facility Management: Oversee leases, physical security, and facility layouts to ensure MALKA’s spaces empower creative collaboration. - Integration Expertise: Facilitate seamless operational alignment with MoneyLion, MALKA’s parent company, and position MALKA to thrive within larger corporate structures.Through every phase of my career, I have been driven by a passion for building systems and teams that empower creativity.
