I commenced my employment with Tomlinsons, and work with a team of 3 Administrators, an assistant manager and report directly to the manager who was an Insolvency Practitioner. My case load consisted of approximately 50 cases, however following the resignation of the manager and an Administration my case load was increased to approximately 96 live cases.Thought my time at Tomlinsons, I gained a significant amount of hands on experience and successfully passed my CPI.My role consisted of dealing with all types of insolvency from start to finish such as CVL, MVL, Administrations, Bankruptcies and Individual Voluntary Arrangements. I was solely responsible for my own case load and would normally report, direct to the Insolvency Partner. My duties would be to prepare all statutory documents pre and post appointment and ensure all statutory requirements and deadlines were meet

I work within a team of two (the insolvency department consists of seven case administrators). I am responsible for the administration of my own cases. My caseload consists of about eighty-five cases, split between Individual Voluntary Arrangements, Liquidations and bankruptcies. I have recently requested that my bankruptcy caseload be increased, allowing me to maintain my knowledge and understanding of administrating all types of insolvency cases.Within my role as an administrator, I ensure that all diaries and statutory requirements are meet. I work as part of a team of four, which consists of two managers' one cashier and myself as an Administrator. I administrate mainly corporate cases such as CVL and MVL, however I also review and administrate bankruptcy and voluntary arrangements. Within my role as an administrator I prepared and review the following: - * Outstanding Assets & Potential Realisation* Dividend payments creditors* Estimated final Outcome* General Correspondence to debtors & Creditors* Section 98 Reports* Statement of AffairsIn addition to the above I prepare annual, final and variation reports. I ensured the checklists were up to date, all the statutory requirements were met and all diaries were up to date. I also dealt with general insolvency tasks, such as preparing journal, requesting cheques and dealing with telephone calls which were specific to my case load.

I worked as part of a team of five mainly dealing with personal bankruptcy, although I have assisted in the administration of corporate cases. Within my group I had my own portfolio of cases which I administrated fully and maintain by taking control and meeting all statutory requirement necessary.Within my role with HLB Kidsons I touched briefly on corporate recovery with the view to expand my knowledge of corporate recovery.I also help with the completion of circulars, Inventory Valuations, Act and Warrants, Statement of Affairs, general correspondence and telephone calls (etc). During the course of my work I arrange and attend many meetings and deal with new external clients each day.; I have had two years experience working part time for Scot Kart. (Indoor Go-Karting)My job title was Track Marshall. My main duties were to maintain the go-karts and ensure the sessions ran smoothly, efficiently and safely. I had to deal with many different people from different backgrounds, ensuring that everything ran accordingly and every customer was satisfied. Within Scot Kart I mainly work as part of a team, this helped me improve my knowledge and understand the importance of communication within a team. * I worked part time in various bars within Glasgow. This consisted of basic bar work such as serving customers, glass collecting, handling money and general tidy up at the end of nights.* I have also worked part time as a head door steward in a number of nightclubs, my duties consisted of supervising a team of three/four door stewards, maintaining the safety and security of the clients, resolving conflict, carrying out first aid on any injured parties, and relaying information to the police in the event of a serious injury or attack.
