I am a curious and highly motivated Ph.D. student (passed dissertation defense on March 21st) wrapping up numerous research projects at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, ReVivo Medical LLC, and the Center for Disability Services. In these positions, I am conducting a clinical trial, managing collaborative teams composed of biologists and engineers, and finishing new research campaigns, including my Ph.D. dissertation. My dissertation research encompasses the directed evolution of protein and gene libraries specifically designed for screening therapeutic complexations and tailoring mechanisms of drug delivery to the brain using various mammalian cell culture assays. Through my seven years of research experience, I have found a passion for genetic engineering, drug evaluation, and drug delivery. I am excited to pursue a career that leverages my expertise in molecular biology, biomaterials, and recombinant technology to pursue these interests. If I'm not in the lab, you will likely find me working in my reef tank, hiking, or playing disc golf.
