Building upon experience gained within the Fibre Industry, operating independently to provide Training, Support, Servicing, Calibration and Advice to Manufacturing and Development concerns.

I have gained a good knowledge of all equipment manufactured by the company, and have played a role in the development of new products and processes, from simple Fibre Strippers, through to a Fully Automated Splicer.Have worked closely with Customers from their initial enquiries and feasibility, through Pre-Delivery Inspection/test, Installation, Training, Support, and Servicing, in both Production and Development Environments.Produced step by step documentation detailing repair techniques and newly-developed processes and procedures, and maintained meticulous records of Calibration and Servicing work.Assisted Customers to reach and exceed expectations, often developing new techniques for fibre processing, modifying and adapting equipment by myself, and as part of the team, liaising with other specialities, and conducting testing to produce verifiable, consistent results.Pursued a process of continuous development on new and old products in all aspects of performance and reliability.Worked closely with my manager and other team members to achieve the business' objectives.

Overseeing a production line of Grating Stabilised Pump Lasers, running a 3-shift pattern, maintaining a high degree of up-time with good yield, and took part in the New Product Integration to begin manufacture of Fibre-Bragg Gratings.
