Primary responsibilities included ensuring security, performance and scalability of the JavaScript front end framework.Scoped, designed, and delivered a web-based application for 24x7 scheduling of network technicians. The Ruby on Rails application provides a powerful interface that simplifies the scheduling process, helping supervisors ensure the proper blend of skills across shifts in several locations. The resulting data model will serve as the foundation for scheduling and assignment automation.Developed XML web service and Oracle database APIs that enabled company-wide access to data stored in Akamai's installation of Siebel CRM. Wrote several C# and ASP.NET applications leveraging these APIs and supported dozens of developers using the APIs via Java, Perl, and Ruby.

The ASP application relied heavily on SQL stored procedures to encapsulate complex and ever-changing business rules around software and service registrations.Responsible for the security and availability of the organization's Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 web servers.

Developed a reporting application used to communicate automated test results to rest engineers and developers. The application used XSLT and XPath to transform XML logs into a report suitable for display in email.
