As a Production Control Supervisor, I lead a team of more than 50 engineers, leads, and material handlers, who service and deliver parts to and from docks, bays, and on-site/off-site warehouse locations to the production facility for current and future use. I help facilitate the creation and continuous improvement of current and new processes and standardized work as GFTX continues to grow and expand. I also help facilitate, create, and manage new layouts and procedures for an ever-expanding warehouse and new plant deliveries as they arise. I also work directly onsite and off site with engineers, cost specialists, and upper management, in an environment where we promote continuous growth and improvement. I leverage my skills in facility safety, attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and process improvement to ensure the smooth and timely flow of materials and information.
