I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Municipal Engineering. I have been involved in multiple clubs/organizations from my Freshman year to now. During my Freshman year I was involved in the SAE Clean Snowmobile team where I learned the basics of how an engineering team works together to complete a complex project. I spent approximately 6 hours a week working on a snowmobile and observing how upperclass students were functioning as engineers. Going into my sophomore year, I was inducted to a nationally recognized organization called The National Society of Leadership and Success. This is an organization that approximately 16% of UW-Platteville students receive for their academic success and leadership abilities. I am also a member of Chi Epsilon, a civil engineering honor society that rewards a select few for their academic success. Lastly, I have experience with inspecting active project sites related to utility and roadway construction, mostly in residential development. I also am familiar with concrete structures such as sidewalks. In summary, I am looking to further my education and experience by acquiring a civil engineering internship in the municipal discipline with a private company.
