Overseeing QHSE, Training and Competence in the UK, Canada, Middle East and Far East Responsible for implementation and up keep of ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OSHAS 18001 accreditations.Responsible for development and management of the STATS integrated management system

Reporting to the Managing Director the Work Systems Coordinator operated at senior management level to facilitate continuous improvement and change management inititives to improve process, efficencies, communication and engagement of employees.

Management of Shift Co-ordinators and responsible for Crew Members. Responsible for the optimisation of the paper making process in safety, environmental, quality, throughput, efficiencies and employee engagement. Main aspects:• HSE compliance• Employee training and competence • Quality • Reduce overall and unscheduled downtime using systematic approach and execute scheduled outages.• Combine production plan/schedule with that of engineering plan for machine outages.• Responsible for inventory of paper machine clothing.• Responsible for Paper Machine Maintenance (£1.25 million) and Rolls (£300,000) budget • Contribute with knowledge, skills and experience to capital investment projects.

Project Management , provide a maintenance and production project plan for all machine outages, ensuring a proactive approach is used to reduce overall machine outages. To ensure paper machine outages were effective and efficiently managed within budget and targets.

Providing a proactive approach to safety management and coordination within the paper industry. Utilising behavioural safety teqniques to achieve required safety target of zero incidents.Duties included:• Ensuring systems and procedures are in place for safe systems of work• Providing tracking and recording methods and databases• Providing specialist advice and guidance to Co-ordinators and Crew Members in dealing with safety issues and problems• Providing training and mentoring to employees on safety and behavioural related issues.
