Derek’s love for design started with a love for art, a passion that quickly developed into design, illustration, and writing music. He’s always had a passion for print design most of all. There’s just something about designing a piece that doesn’t just stay on a screen, but also becomes something you can touch, and feel. What drives Derek most are new ideas, and the art of making something out of nothing. He loves spending time with his wife, Kortnie, and their three kids. If Derek’s not with them you will probably find him playing progressive metal on his drop tuned, baritone guitar.
