My primary focus is in our weld and fabrication shop. Larger projects I manage are model changes, new robot cells, new weld tooling, other welding and fabrication equipment. I have designed and built single & dual robot cells in-house with the help of our maintenance and robot technicians. I enjoy working in the shop building the things I have designed. I work with all of our stamping dies. From trouble shooting issues that arise to changing out springs, punches, cutter, etc. I also spend time with our machinist working on small projects in-house. We also repair what we can in-house (improve weld tooling, stamping dies, and miscellaneous stuff around the plant that needs attention).I continually work on Kaizens. I don't mind changing casters out on carts and baskets or making a Lowe's run for something we need or taking tooling to a vendor for help if it exceeds our in-house machining capabilities.
