My name is Derek, I am a mechanical engineer with experience in manufacturing. I'm very driven and always love exploring new ideas and learning more. I have a very good eye for continuous improvement and keep that mentality in all aspects of my life even outside of my professional life. I work at home to try and create cool projects with arduinos and 3D printing such as robots, RC cars, light sequences etc. I have experience in manufacturing from designing and modeling to machining and assemblies. I have interests in automation and robotics with PLCs and HMIs to continue to innovate technologically to improve. I always like expanding my knowledge and always look forward to working with others I can learn from and be able to share my knowledge. One of my hobbies is competing in dog agility. I am always training and practicing to improve and try our best to improve and compete to the best of our ability.
