I'm proud to lead the People and Talent agenda for Strong Roots across our global business (with employees in Ireland, UK and USA). I managed a small and committed team of L&D professionals, within the Bank's wider OD team. I had responsibility for the management of a very busy L&D support function, for the Bank's Performance Management process, and for bringing its blended learning / learning technology solution to the next level (which included managing the LMS for 2,000+ users). I co-owned the design and delivery of a 9-month long senior leadership development programme, and particularly enjoyed the challenge of designing a fully bespoke 360 feedback tool from the ground up.

I provided a range of learning and development supports to colleagues across the Bank to help them achieve their goals, while delivering on key elements of the Bank’s people strategy. This involved team interventions, project support, and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the L&D team as a whole.

Full ownership of all aspects of Learning & Development (including key Organisational Development activities) for 4,000+ employees (400+ managers) spread across a range of business sectors in both Ireland and UK. This included 1 year as L&D Manager for ARAMARK Healthcare, providing me with in-depth experience of the Healthcare environment (including the acute, mental health and elderly / specialist care sectors) in Ireland, the UK and Spain.

Designed, marketed and delivered a broad range of soft skills training solutions to clients in the public, private, healthcare and voluntary sectors. Provided L&D consulting services such as training needs analyses, creation of training programmes and materials, review of policies / existing offerings and provision of general advice in the L&D area.

Full responsibility for training solutions for both sales and customer care agents, as well as the management population. Mostly soft skills and management training but also product knowledge and some technical training.
