I have been operating equipment for over 20 years. Obtained my Red Seal Endorsement ( Loader-Tractor- Backhoe ) combination, with the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency. I worked at Northern Pulp for 10 years as the senior warehouse clamp truck operator as well as in the control room monitoring the fiber line production process as a Dry End Operator. I have worked prior to this for SW. Weeks Construction Ltd. for 10 years in their Quarries. Feeding and stockpiling around crushers, wash plants, asphalt plants. Performing maintenance, loading trucks and scale house duties. Operating 980 loaders, rock trucks, bulldozers, and have plowed quarry roads with graders. I enjoy shift work, long hours and will welcome all overtime. I am a safe, efficient and mature worker who is familiar with the pulp industry, mining and fast paced production conditions. I am comfortable working alone or in groups. Operating equipment is my passion and I take great pride in my work. Graduated from The Operating Engineers Training Institute Nova Scotia Fundamentals of Earth Moving Course. The Dexter Institute of Nova Scotia has certified me on their Tandems, loaders, articulated off highway trucks and their solid frame haul trucks. I am currently employed and enjoying life.
