I am a recent Kennesaw State University graduate with a major Interactive Design. Through my education I have learned many useful skills and traits for the industry such as setting up Potential User Interviews, Wireframing, and User Testing. I enjoy working hands on and with groups to collaborate and efficiently find the best solutions to solving problems and achieve user goals. In college I was tasked with leading a team with a semester-long project in a course on interaction design . The goal of the project was to come up with a new app and make a high-fidelity prototype to pitch to the rest of the class. As project lead, I came up with the idea for the app and was also in charge of making decisions and setting goals for the rest of the team. Along with my main position as project lead I also split the work with Potential User Interviews, developing Personas, Wireframing / Key Paths, and User Testing. Our group used Goal Directed Design to complete the assignment. At the end of the assignment I gave a ten minute presentation to the rest of class as though they were shareholders. At my current occupation I am tasked with meeting with homeowners and contractors to evaluate their needs. I then come up with what products would best fulfil their projects. Using customer service and problem solving to ensure that each customer is happy and satisfied with their experience in the store. In previous jobs I have been asked to test and evaluate new processes and techniques in order to find ways to cut time and prevent mistakes in the distribution process.
