•Ensure that the safety and operational efficiency of the ROV systems are optimised.•Provide technical support to senior personnel.•Interface, operate and maintain project-specific tooling and survey equipment.•Carry out the day to day operations of the ROV as required.•Upkeep of all technical, procedural and general documentation issued to the system.•Carry out work permits, toolbox talks with team members before commencement of work.•Ensure that planned maintenance is carried out in accordance with maintenance schedules and logs completed.

Great Yarmouth

•Manage the daily running of the shift ensuring all ROV operations are carried out safely and efficiently.•Manage mobilisation / demobilisation activities.•Interface effectively with clients as required.•Have overall control of the company's ROV projects offshore in the absence of a ROV Offshore Manager or Offshore Project Manager.•Maintaining safe operations and the welfare of the ROV operating crew•Obtaining all necessary clearances and work permits before commencement of work•Ensuring all equipment has been correctly installed, certified and that the equipment is fit for purpose.•Ensure that planned maintenance is carried out in accordance with maintenance schedules and logs completed•Maintain Fault Logs and ensure transmittal to base•Ensure all system installation tests are carried out•Ensure all pre and post-dive checks are performed and logged•Effective handling of emergency situations•Organising and managing the team•Record-keeping and preparing formal procedures
