This was a market that we didn't consider before, and it ended up being a very lucrative and intriguing space for a partnership. His creativity and motivation thrived during this segment of the internship in a way that strengthened and inflated our brand recognition in the region. While working with Derek he excelled in communication, customer commitment, social media, sponsorships, and marketing. During his tenure of our social media accounts, we saw an increase in followers and activity by 125%. During the events he directly consulted with parents and organized our college coaches and field set-up on event day. I had no worries putting him in charge of event operations that we normally permitted only for full-time employees.
