What’s in a story? Each life has something unique and each person has something of great value to bring to a job. However, the problem that many face is that they don’t know what those things are about themselves or how to express it successfully. As a Career Coach, Workshop Facilitator, Trainer and Public Speaker my goal is to help the people I work with reach a point in which they can understand and tell their story and share it with confidence.Whether it be their soft skills, resumes, interviews, job search or career direction I want those I work with to understand themselves better and be pushed to see the value they offer. I want them to understand what the “other side of the desk” is looking for and I can achieve this through my own background of recruitment, knowing and speaking to other recruiters and employers and ensuring that I have the latest information and research to give to my clients about what is happening “out there”.With over 18 years of experience in one to one consulting, group facilitation, and now engaging with others virtually and online, I am known as one who can lead others to success, and most of that has been through the power of stories. Whether it is helping the person understand theirs’, or being known as the “Story Teller” in my workshops, my goal is for the people that I work with know how to create connections and walk away better than when they first met me.
