My tenure as a school leader and educator includes over seventeen years of service. I currently serve as an Assistant Principal at Westchester Enriched Sciences Magnet. I have had the opportunity to serve as a dean of students, special education department chair, coordinator, mentor, and teacher. I have recently completed a second Master’s degree in educational leadership. As a school leader and an educator, I am committed to providing excellent leadership in my work environment. What my resume does not reveal is my professional demeanor and appearance. In a school environment, these qualities are of the utmost importance in dealing with parents, students, as well as school personnel. In me, you’ll discover a reliable, detail-oriented, and extremely hard-working educator; one who will serve as a model to encourage other staff members to demonstrate the same high standard of professionalism.These experiences continue to defined and reinforce the educational vision/philosophy I have today. I believe that all students deserve to be surrounded by a school/community who believe that they are capable of high achievement. That they are also surrounded by a culture of high expectations, and are provided a rich array of options for the future.
