Lead summer basketball camps for the Junior Wizards program. Participate in teaching basketball skills to children at youth clinics of the Washington Wizards, Washington Mystics and Capital City GoGo.

Direct and teach youth sports including basketball, floor hockey, flag football, lacrosse and soccer for Howard County Recreation & Parks. Work as a site supervisor for various tournaments including basketball, lacrosse and field hockey.

This position involved working with students, aged 16-24 that were considered slightly at risk and had either dropped out of school or had other issues at home. My goal was to assist them as they were there to learn a trade and turn their lives around. I supervised the recreation area which included organizing different games in the gymnasium and monitoring the activities center after classes and dinner. I also transported and chaperoned students weekly to restaurants and shopping malls in addition to seasonal trips to festivals in Baltimore and visits to the beach in Ocean City.
