    SCORE was a very interesting and meaningful journey in my career life. How many people get the chance to manage a marketing agency, run it like a business unit with P&L responsibility, have inmates as your staff, all within a prison? And doing all these knowing that you are helping to reintegrate ex-offenders back to society? I had. SCORE is a self-funded statutory board in a government ministry, operating in a social enterprise model. When I joined SCORE, I had the task to turnaround the SCORE Digital Media business unit and make it profitable, in a very short time. I had to review the business model and make bold changes to bring the business back on track. I revamped the business into a digital-focused marketing agency. I had the selected inmates trained in different media competencies and they in turn work in my media agency as graphic designers, video editors, web programmers, and copywriters, all within the four walls of a prison compound. During my tenure, I brought in many commercial projects and was able to sustain the business model with a healthy P&L.I was also lobbying for awareness and fundraising for the Yellow Ribbon Project, which was necessary and natural. The Yellow Ribbon Project is an initiative to create awareness and promote acceptance for ex-offenders, giving them a second chance so that they can better reintegrate back to society, thereby breaking the vicious circle of re-offending.
