About Derrick Smith

I have owned three businesses in the Jackson Metro area which included a small trucking company, a small eatery, lawn care service, and a security company. I am ready to add some flavor to the Dallas Metro Area. I have graduated with a Masters Degree in Public Safety and is scheduled to start a Doctoral Program in Public Administration in Sept of this year. I have graduated from the Law Enforcement Training Academy as well as the Counter Drug Narcotics Academy and The FBI Law Enforcement Command School. I currently serve as Police Captain as well.Most of all, I love the Lord; wife, our kids, and family.
